Borger Independent School district sets bond election date for May 6

The Borger Independent School District (ISD) has set their school bond election date for Saturday, May 6. Early voting will be conducted Monday, April 24 to Friday, April 28 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Monday and Tuesday, May 1 & 2 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Borger City Hall located at 600 N. Main St.

The final day to vote is Saturday, May 6 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Three polling sites will be open May 6. For voters in Precincts 33 & 42, the polling site is Paul Belton Elementary School located at 800 N. McGee St. For voters in Precinct 11, the polling site is the Borger Middle School located at 1200 S. Florida St. For voters in Precincts 14 & 23, the polling site is Fairlanes Baptist Church located at 3000 Fairlanes Blvd.

Applications for mail ballot are available until Tuesday, April 25 by contacting the Voting Clerk, Stella Sauls. If the application to vote by mail is made by personal delivery, the application must be delivered by the close of business on April 21 to Stella Sauls. Ms. Sauls can be contacted by mail or in person at Borger City Hall, 600 N. Main St., Borger, Texas 79008.
