"Okay to Say" launch set for May 4 in Amarillo

May is National Mental Health Month. To help launch the month-long awareness program for those dealing with mental health challenges, the Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute and the Panhandle Behavioral Health Initiative, along with Rep. Four Price, are launching the "Okay to Say" movement in Amarillo on Wednesday, May 4. "Okay to Say" is a statewide initiative aimed at ending the stigma surrounding mental health issues and to provide resources for those in need.

A special launch luncheon will be held at the Amarillo Area Foundation located at 801 S. Fillmore Street (7th floor). The event is open to the public and begins at 11:30 p.m.
