Bulldogs stumble against Dumas lose, 72-57

The Borger Bulldogs boys basketball team dropped their non-conference game to Dumas Tuesday night, 72-57. Borger had a very up-and-down game against the Demons at home Tuesday night with multiple lead changes throughout the contest. The Bulldogs lead after one quarter, 18-15, but surrendered the lead with a tip in at the buzzer to end the first half to trail, 30-31. In the third quarter Borger went on a 10-0 run to begin the second half, but again Dumas would close the gap to just three points to begin the final quarter. Dumas would tie the game at the 7:36 mark of the fourth quarter, and close with a 22-5 run to win the game, 72-57.
The top performers for Borger were, Kyler Brewer with 16 points, 11 rebounds, two assists, one steal, and two blocks. JyUius Bumpus chipped in 11 points, two rebounds, and two assists. Bryce Day also had 11 points for Borger with four rebounds. Josh Johnson had 10 points with two rebounds. Logan Moles scored nine points, grabbed three rebounds with two assists, and one steal Tuesday night. Dontae Chambers grabbed two rebounds with one assist, and Eaya Lewis had one steal in the contest against Dumas.
