Boomtown Theater performance “Halloween Screams” tonight and tomorrow night only

Staff Writer

Boomtown Theater is back at it again and this time it’s “Halloween Screams” that the local theater troupe offers. Written by L. Don Swartz and directed by Benjaman Ooley, this community theater production is sure to keep everyone on the edge of their seat.
The show will take place tonight and tomorrow night (November 12 and 13) with a delicious dinner served at 6:30 p.m. and the first act beginning around 7:00 p.m.
Community theater is just another way that local Borger residents can enjoy and express their inner creativity through art and performance. The local community theater welcomes everyone interested in participating in future productions and encourages everyone to attend the real 3D performance that makes the experience of theater an entire sensory experience, as opposed to flickering images on a television screen.
Tickets for the event are just $18, and proceeds go directly back into the community organization, not some hollywood production agent’s pocket. The proceeds will help the group to purchase needed supplies for sets, costumes, props and support materials.
Don’t miss this chance to see local talent take the stage. Those interested in attending must make reservations by calling 806-273-2656 in advance.
