This Week In Borger

Thursday: A special meeting of the Hutchinson County Commissioners will be held at 3:00 p.m. in Stinnett's Courthouse. The meeting will decide the immediate future of Borger's library, and whether or not it will be reopened for service. Locals who wish to attend and offer their opinions are encouraged to sign their names for public comment at the start of the meeting.

Friday: The Hutchinson County Museum Quilt Exhibition concludes, so residents only have a few more days to enjoy the numerous colorful works of art currently on display. Visitors will also have the chance to vote on their favorite quilt for the People's Choice Award, which will be given on Friday, July 31. A raffle will also be held the same Friday for an antique quilt, and tickets are currently available at the museum's front desk.
