Severe weather hit the Panhandle Monday night. The National Weather Service (NWS) had issued weather warnings with the possibility of tornadoes earlier on Monday. In Pampa, two tornadoes reportedly touched down. The Gray County sheriff's officials confirmed Pampa's Halliburton plant near Country Road 12 was severely damaged and hazmat crews had responded. The NWS also received reports of tornadoes near Booker, Miami, Perryton and Wolf Creek County Park in Ochiltree County. Xcel Energy reported at least two transmission lines were down leaving about 6,500 customers without power.
