Texas Panhandle Scout School training set for April 5 in Amarillo

Texas Panhandle Scout School training, hosted by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, will be held on Tuesday, April 5. The training will be at the Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center located at 6500 Amarillo Blvd. in Amarillo. The training is open to anyone interested in learning about scouting and identifying insect pests of corn, grain sorghum and cotton, said Dr. Ed Bynum, AgriLife Extension entomologist in Amarillo. The event begins with registration at 8:30 a.m. There is a $10 registration fee.
