Grass fire north of Pampa torches nearly 11,300 acres

Over a dozen area fire departments are battling a grass fire that started 30 miles north of Pampa. Nearly 11,300 acres of land have been consumed so far. The Chisum Ranch fire started near Highway 70 early Monday afternoon. No structures or vehicles have been damaged so far. Fire departments from both Borger and Stinnett are helping battle the grass fire. Randall County issued a burn ban on Tuesday according to a press release.
