Denver tops Carolina, claims Super Bowl 50

Lead by a smothering defense and the ageless Peyton Manning, the Denver Broncos claimed their third Super Bowl title with a 24-10 victory over the Carolina Panthers. The Broncos authored one of the greatest defensive performances in Super Bowl history against the NFL's top-scoring offense. It was only fitting that the game's decisive moment was made by Broncos linebacker Von Miller, the Super Bowl MVP. With under five minutes left in a one score game, Miller fought off Panthers tackle Mike Remmers' initial block and hit Cam Newton's arm causing a fumble. The turnover sealed Carolina's fate.

Manning's journey to the Super Bowl still resonates. He was a supporting actor in the victory, but he finished a stellar career holding many NFL quarterback records and is a shoe in for the Hall-of-Fame. Many analysts believe he'll retire during the off-season.
