Amarillo Zoo hosts Monarch Festival Sept. 10

The Amarillo Zoo will host Monarch Festival, a fun and informative event, on Saturday, September 10 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Presenter, Samantha Sader of Canyon Edge Plants will offer a presentation at 1:30 p.m. called Monarchs: Life Cycles, Habitat and Migration. Participants receive free milkweed seeds perfect for attracting monarch butterflies. The festival includes craft stations, face painting and a special story time at 2:15 p.m.
