Actor Gene Wilder, star of "Willy Wonka," has died

Gene Wilder, 83, the actor who starred in a series of memorable and iconic comedy roles in the 1970s and 1980s, has died according to his lawyer, Eric Weissmann. Wilder died early Monday morning at his home in Stamford, Conn. due to complications from Alzheimer's disease. Wilder chose not to disclose his illness, according to a family statement.
