The Fritch Lady Eagles claimed a district victory on Tuesday night over Boys Ranch, and improved to 14-6 on the season and 1-1 in district play. Boys Ranch falls to 0-2.
They beat Boys Ranch 68-29 holding them to only 13 points in the first half of play.
Mikala Setliff finished with 18 points to lead the Lady Eagles. Christa White with 16, Blakely Meek with 14, and Bailey Hardy with 10, all contributed to the victory.
The Fritch teams will travel to Spearman for their next district contest on Friday.
The West Texas High teams split victories with Memphis. The boys lost 50-35, after keeping it close early. Leading scorer was Nathan Forrest with 12. West Texas falls to 8-11 on the season.
The Lady Comanches came out on top with a 56-41 victory over Memphis. Cheyenne Tull was the leading scorer with 21, and Rachel Wallace finished with 10. The girls improve to an 8-11 record on the year.
Both teams will play Gruver at home on Friday night.
