It is hard to believe, but Election Day is tomorrow!
Voters across the area, state, and country will going to the polls today to cast ballots for various races. Several of these voters will be right here in Hutchinson County.
On Election Day, set for Nov. 6, polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The polling places are as follows:
*Precinct 11 - Faith Covenant Church, 1501 South Florida, Borger
*Precinct 14 - Fairlanes Baptist Church, 3000 Fairlanes Boulevard, Borger
*Precinct 21 - Fritch School Administration Building, 540 Eagle Boulevard, Fritch
*Precinct 23 - St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 100 Amaryllis, Borger
*Precinct 31 - WTHS Commons Room, 600 Stewart Avenue, Stinnett
*Precinct 33 - Frank Phillips College TRIO/College Advancement Building (This polling place has changed from previous years. County clerk Jan Barnes said signs at the entrance of Frank Phillips will show where to vote and a VOTE sign will be placed in front of the building on Election Day.)
*Precinct 41 - Holt Community Building, 1911 County Road, 22, Spearman
*Precinct 42 - Borger School Administration Building, 200 East Ninth Street, Borger
A complete list of ballots and write-in candidates ran in the weekend edition of the Borger News-Herald to aid voters in the polling process, and the BNH will be keeping its web site updated with continual news coverage of the election throughout the entire day Tuesday.
