Mary Joan Moss, 73, of Amarillo, passed away, Tuesday, March 27, 2012.
Mary Joan (Yeary) Moss was born Sunday, January 22, 1939 in Kingston, OK to Charles and Jane (Eddings) Yeary. She was a homemaker. Mary Joan married William “Bill” Moss on August 13, 1954 in Madill, OK.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William “Bill” Moss; and two daughters, Mona Moss and Shannon Newman.
Survivors include her son, Cecil Moss and wife Phyllis of Austin, TX; her daughter, Darlene Brooner of Amarillo, TX; three grandchildren, Rebecca Medley and husband Clancy of McKinney, TX, Belinda Brooner of Dallas, TX and Clint William Newman of Borger, TX; two great grandchildren, Orion William Medley of McKinney, TX and Amber Rose Medley of McKinney, TX; one brother, Calvin Yeary and wife Norma of Borger, TX; and one sister, Billie Yeary of Borger, TX.
Graveside service will be held at 1:30PM, Friday, March 30, 2012 at Lieb Cemetery with Larry Laws, Elder of Central Terrace Congregation Jehovah’s Witness officiating.
Memorial service will be held at 6:00PM, Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the Central Terrace Congregation Jehovah’s Witness in Amarillo, TX.
Mrs. Moss will lie in state at Brown Chapel Of The Fountains in Borger, TX on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 from 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Thursday, March 29, 2012 from 8:00AM to 5:00PM and Friday, March 30, 2012 from 8:00AM to 12:00PM.
