LAS VEGAS, NV – J.D. “Red” Brittain, 77, died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.
Visitation will be at Park Mortuary – Eastern from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011 and from 10-11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011, at Palm Mortuary – Eastern.
Interment will be in Palm Valley View Cemetery in Las Vegas, Nev. Arrangements are handled by Palm Mortuary – Eastern, 7600 S. Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, Nevada.
Mr. Brittain was born Feb. 12, 1934, in Wynnewood, Okla., and was a resident of Las Vegas, Nev., for over 30 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired construction superintendent.
He was an active member of Paradise Church and was proud of his profession of faith and always willing to talk and spread the word of Jesus Christ, donating a Bible to anyone in need.
He was preceded in death by his wife Eldeen, companion Marie Caravella, niece Larhonda Brittain, nephew Shawn Dean Brittain, and brothers, W.D. “Smoky” Brittain, Carl Brittain, Joe Ray Brittain, Larry Gene Brittain.
Survivors include his brothers Zane Brittain and wife Blanche and Lonnie Dean Brittain, and many nieces and nephews.
