The first meeting of the 2011-2012 year for Hutchinson County Retired School Personnel Association will be Thursday, September 15, 2011, at Frank Phillips College. Lunch will be available for those attending at 11:30 a.m. in the cafeteria. The program features Four Price, State Representative for the counties of Sherman, Moore, Potter, and Carson. The program will be in the gallery room at 12:30 P.M. The public is invited to attend and learn Representative Price’s impressions of the recent legislative session.
Walter Thomas Price, IV, also known as “Four Price” was born in 1968 as the fourth generation Walter Thomas price in his family. Price is an attorney from Amarillo who is the Republican state representative from District 87 in the Texas Panhandle. Price is a 1986 graduate from Tascosa High School in Amarillo. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio.
He served as a director of the Amarillo Economic Development Corporation, Price is also president of the Amarillo Area Bar Association, and has served as a director of Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch Foundation, and is a former director of the Don and Sybil Harrington Cancer Center.
He is a member and former deacon of the First Presbyterian Church of Amarillo and life member of the University of Texas Ex-Students Association.
