
According to unofficial results, incumbent Robert Vinyard is retaining his spot on the Borger City Council.
The unofficial results were Vinyard receiving 394 votes (51%), challenger Brandy Callahan receiving 321 votes (41%) and challenger John Ray receiving 60 votes (8%).
A longtime school board member also retained his seat on the Borger ISD Board of Trustees, while a new member is set to join the board, according to unofficial results.
Incumbent Robert Bradley received 417 votes (31%)and Les Sharp was elected to his first term of office on the BISD board of trustees by a vote of 390 votes (29%). The top two vote-getters are elected to spots on the board.
Board candidates Scott Mills and Diedre Hood received 331 votes (24%) and 229 votes (17%) respectively.
