The third time almost proved to be the charm as the Borger Lady Bulldogs rallied from a 8-1 deficit to take a 9-8 lead over the Pampa Harvesters in the fifth inning of their third meeting of the season.
Unfortunately, Pampa would rally to take the game 15-12 to send Borger to 3-4 in District 1-3A play.
With Dalhart’s loss to Perryton on Saturday, the Lady Bulldogs still sit in second place with a one game lead over Dalhart and Perryton in the district race, with two games to go in the regular season.
The Lady Bulldogs will host Dalhart tomorrow evening starting at 5:00 p.m. at Agnes Howe Park.
