The Borger ISD Foundation has six scholarships available for high school seniors about to walk the stage this May.
There are two Class of 1950 scholarships, worth $250 each, and two Class of 53,54,55,56,and 57 scholarships, worth $500.
In order to be eligible for these scholarships, students must be 2011 BHS graduates, had one or both parents or grandparents graduate from Borger High School, and have plans to attend a college, university, or vocational school.
There are also two Class of 1980 scholarships available, each worth $350.
In order to be eligible for these scholarships, students must be 2011 BHS graduates, a GPA of 3.0 or above, and have a copy of their transcript attached to their application. They must also have plans to attend a college, university, or vocational school.
Applications for these scholarships may be picked up in the counselor’s office at the high school or at the administrative center located at 200 East Ninth.
Applications must be turned in by Friday, May 13, in the counselor’s office.
