The City of Stinnett will celebrate its 91st birthday with a citywide celebration on Saturday, August 26. The annual event is sponsored by the City of Stinnett. The Stinnett Volunteer Fire Department will organize and run the festivities again this year.

The annual celebration kicks-off with a parade starting at 11:00 a.m. along the 200 block of Main St. and ending on West Broadway near the city park. As the parade ends, the city park opens with lots of vendors, rides, games and food booths. The Ping Pong Drop is set for 2:30 p.m. and plans are set for a horseshoe and human Foosball tournaments. The city will also open the swimming pool from noon to 5:00 p.m. with half-price admission. Organizers have arranged several live music concerts too.
