Fruit tree, pecan grafting clinic coming Apr. 27 in Iowa Park

A Fruit Tree Clinic and Pecan Grafting Demo will be conducted Thursday, April 27 in Iowa Park, TX. Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service is coordinating the event which is free and open to the public.
The presenter is Master Gardener Tim Hunter. The event runs from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hunter's orchard located at 1772 Peterson Rd. S. near Iowa Park.

Hunter will discuss pruning techniques for production, variety selection and planting, pest and fertility management, and blackberries and other berries. Attendees are invited to bring plant samples with problems.
