Sixth annual Texas State Bison Music Festival coming Sept. 17 to Quitaque

Grab your dancing shoes and head to Quitaque, TX on Sunday, September 17 for the sixth annual Texas State Bison Music Festival. The festival kicks off at 9:00 a.m. with vendors lining Main St. Starting at 4:00 p.m. the music portion begins with live music by Ed Montana, Kevin Deal, Zac Wilkerson, Mark Powell followed by headliner Robert Earl Keen. Keen, inducted into the Texas Heritage Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2012, has toured worldwide throughout his career.

General admission tickets are $30 and available online by visiting www.bisonfest.com. Cooler fee is $10 at the gate. Campsites are available. The proceeds raised benefit the Texas State Bison Herd Restoration Project.
