Venom hosts free Kids Camp during Spring Break

With Spring Break just around the corner, the Amarillo Venom are hosting a series of free Kids Camps in the Texas Panhandle. Venom players and coaches will teach youngsters how to play football. All school age kids are welcome. Participants must bring a signed waiver from their parents or have their parents sign a waiver at the camp. The waivers can be found at www.govenom.com.

The Kids Camp schedule for Monday, March 14 will be in Amarillo at Groom and Puckett Elementary from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., then Claude and Sleepy Hollow Elementary from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and finishing at Wellington Elementary from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 15 the Venom will be at City View Park, next to City View Elementary, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., then Canyon City Park from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The Venom will also hold a camp in Dumas at the Fun Family Fitness and at Dalhart's City Park from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday's camps will be located in Bushland and Amarillo College's Memorial Park from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. In the afternoon, camp's will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Woodlands Elementary and Austin Middle School. Thursday's camps will be at Carver Elementary and River Road from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and conclude the day at Thompson Park and Hamlet Elementary from noon to 1:30 p.m.
