The Sanford-Fritch Independent School District (SFISD) and Connect Community Services (CCS) are teaming up with two Fritch businesses to provide a little holiday cheer to area families in need. With the Christmas season just around the corner, Angel Trees will be set up at Lowes Grocery Store and at Fritch Drug and Gift. Both Angel Trees will have the names of children, grades 12 on down, from families struggling to provide presents for their children. Lowes Grocery Store is located at 316 East Broadway in Fritch. Fritch Drug and Gift is located at 105 West Broadway.

Items suggested include clothing such as shirts, pants, underwear or shoes. Small toys are also welcomed. Donors are asked to have their gifts ready by December 11. On Tuesday, December 15 there will be a party for the parents and children who will receive their Angel Tree gifts. It's a wonderful way to get into the spirit of the season by helping out a local boy or girl. For more information contact CCS at (806) 674-9739.
