Zelma Mae Wood

Funeral services for Zelma Mae Wood, 82, will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Minton Memorial Chapel with Kyle Holley of Amarillo officiating. 
Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa under the direction of Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mrs. Wood was born in Cordell, Okla., July 1, 1929, to Albert and Flora Bell Harbin.  She married William Benson Wood April 29, 1944, in Spearman, TX. He preceded her in death in February of 2003.  Zelma had lived in Skellytown for 50 years prior to moving to Borger three years ago.  She loved to play with her grandkids.
She is survived by her son William Dale Wood and wife Sherry of Round Rock, TX and two daughters, Shirley Jane Purcell and husband David of Borger and Betty Jean Butler and husband Thomas of Amarillo, seven grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Casket bearers will be Mark Purcell, Kenny Purcell, Len Schmidt, Freddie Ramirez, and Rodney Wood.
