Women’s Self-Defense Seminar being offered on Saturday

October 12, 2011

On Saturday, October 15th, Freestyle School of Karate & MMA will be holding a Women’s Self-Defense Seminar from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
On why the school is holding the self-defense seminar, Master Donald Stang of Freestyle School of Karate & MMA said, “I believe this is much needed for our ladies in this community, due to what has happen recently and for their future protection. We offer 28 years of experience in the Martial Arts and great understanding in what it takes to teach someone to defend themselves.”
The Woman’s Self Defense Seminar is a hands-on program that is designed to give women the ability to respond effectively in a realistic attack situation.
Master Stang commented, “We will educate them on personal protection, environmental awareness, and practical self defense techniques.
The seminar will be the third the school has offered this year and Master Stang stresses anyone interested does not need to be in shape or have any Martial Arts training in order to take part.
The cost of the seminar is $25 for each person or $15 if someone brings a friend, something Master Stang recommends. The first 15 to register will receive a free self-defense key chain.
For more information or to register for the self-defense seminar contact Master Stang at 806-898-0150.
Freestyle School of Karate & MMA is located in the Megert Shopping Center next to China Dynasty Restaurant.
