Witt Flooring to celebrate grand opening in Borger

September 6, 2012

Witt Flooring Center is getting ready to hold its grand opening at its new Borger location.
The grand opening event will be held on Friday, Sept. 7, 2012. A ribbon cutting will be held at 11:30 a.m. and refreshments will follow. There will be specials throughout the day, and the public is encouraged to come and see what the store has to offer.
Witt Flooring Center of Borger began renovation of its current location in the spring of this year and officially opened for business in Borger at the beginning of July.
Leading the team in Borger is Jim Brown as store manager. His experience includes over 15 years selling retail home improvement products. Supporting Brown are James Longbine with over 10 years of experience and Victor Trevino with over 13 years experience. Chris Crim, warehouse manager for Witt, brings over 10 years of experience in the building trades to the team.
The staff and ownership of Witt Flooring is excited to be a part of the Borger community. As expansion plans developed for Witt Flooring, Borger was one of two sites being considered for a new store. They quickly found Borger to be the best choice, and said that community support has been overwhelming.
Witt Flooring Center is all about earning the business of its customers. For those that walk through the doors of Witt Flooring, it is the goal of the staff to offer its guests a warm, comfortable, and inviting store to shop for flooring products. It is Witt Flooring's desire to bring to Borger the same level of outstanding customers service founded by Scotty Witt at Witt Builders Supply in Amarillo over 50 years ago.
Witt Builders Supply was purchased in 2006 from Scotty Witt. The parent company not only owns Witt Flooring in Borger, but also owns Witt Flooring Center in Amarillo and Pride Do It Best Lumber and Hardware in Amarillo.
