March 11, 2014

Borger Police officers have arrested a wanted subject and discovered a stash of drugs and cash in his possession, according to a news release issued by Captain Anthony Griffin of the BPD.

Officers on patrol around the 500 block of Lee Street on Tuesday afternoon noticed a man known to the officers as a wanted subject, said Griffin. Police approached the man, identified in the release as Domincio Deshae Carriera, 45, and confirmed that he was in fact wanted for outstanding warrants.

Officers placed Carriera under arrest and conducted a search which turned up a loaded Ruger automatic pistol concealed in Carriera’s waistband, 9.7 grams of methamphetamine, and several syringes believed to be filled with liquid meth, along with $3964 in cash.

Carriera was taken to the Borger Police Department for booking and is being held at the City of Borger’s jail facility on multiple charges.
