Dwain C. Nicholas, 62, died Monday, May 12, 2008, in Borger.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, May 14, at Westlawn Memorial Park under the auspices of Unity Masonic Lodge #1242.
Interment was in “The Garden of Beatitudes” at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. Nicholas was born May 23, 1945, in Paris, and was a Borger resident for 60 years. He married Linda Reber on Jan. 14, 1966, in Borger. He was a journeyman electrician for Southwestern Public Service for 38 years. He was a member of Unity Masonic Lodge #1242.
He was preceded in death by his father Cyburn Nicholas.
He is survived by his wife Linda Nicholas of the home; two daughters, Sharon and Chief Prock and Teresa Bodey, all of Borger; his mother Martha Nicholas of Borger; a sister Percilla Newberry of Fritch; and two grandchildren, Chase Prock and Taelor Bodey.
Memorials may be made to the Scottish Rite Childrens Hospital, 2222 Welborn, Dallas 76219-3993.
