Often times we get so wrapped up in our own lives that we fail to see all the wonderful things that are going on in our own community.

Growing up in this area and having raised my family here, I have seen our city experience many ups and downs. I know that it is sometimes easy to point a finger at someone else or think that you could do things better. But let’s face it; we are very blessed to live in our community where pride and commitment are evident. I am excited to see the growth that our city is experiencing as well as a significant boost in the pride of our community. I hope this is a continued sign of many good things to come. I would like to express my gratitude and thanks to the city council, city administration as well as city employees who have continued to work hard to make Borger a place that we can all be proud of. Let’s all work together for “our community!”
