CANYON – Videll McDonald, 91, died Friday, June 8, 2012, in Amarillo, TX.
Services were held Monday, June 11, 2012, at Brooks Chapel with Rev. Gene Jones officiating. Burial was at Westlawn Cemetery. Arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Directors.
Mrs. McDonald was born June 5, 1921, in El Reno, Okla., to George and Jesse Gable.
Mrs. McDonald married Charles McDonald on July 2, 1938, in Borger, TX. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles David McDonald, her parents, George and Jesse Gable, a daughter Gaydell Adamie, two granddaughters, Chardonna Wesson and Vanessa Videll, one brother and three sisters.
She was survived by two daughters, Charlene Sherwood and husband A.G. Of Canyon, TX and Linda Mahan and husband Bruce of Katy, TX; a granddaughter Shelly Cantrell of Canyon, TX; five grandsons, David Sherwood of Nashtoah, Wis., Darin Sherwood of Amarillo, TX; Dr. Paul David Wesson of Ohio, Cameron Wesson, and Nathan Gillilan of Borger, TX.
