The Tri-City Musica Concert Association is inviting the public to the next concert of their 2015-2016 season, this Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. in the Borger High School Auditorium. Live, on the stage, from across the pond, as they say is the Vida Guitar Quartet.

With a repretoire that includes everything from Classical to Gershwin to British Rock. The World-renowned performers of the Vida Guitar Quartet Mark Ashford and Helen Sanderson join forces with innovative guitar duo Mark Eden and Christopher Stell to present "an orchestral palette of colours and effects" (Classic FM) in a diverse program.

The group has been performing to critical acclaim in the United Kingdom, United States of America and additional European venues since it formed in 2007. The group made their US debut in 2011 athte LMU Guitar Festival in Los Angeles and in 2012 they were artists in residence at California State University's Summer Arts program in Monterey Bay, CA.

The Tri-City Music Concert Association [TCMCA] brings lots of talented programs to the area, and this one will be no exception. Thankfully, the TCMCA is able to rely on a booking agent to help find the right talents to perform here in the Texas Panhandle. “We pick our concerts through a booking agent in Nashville, they are the ones that vette the performers and make sure they are good quality and easy to work with,” said Judy Flanders, TCMCA president.

Tickets for a single event like this week's concert are just $30 for individuals, but the real value is in the seasonal membership offering. Season ticket holders not only get to attend the four TCMCA concerts but also the concerts sponsored by the music associations and held in Pampa, Plainview, and even Liberal, KS. These membership level tickets have an added perk, all members are eligible to serve on the board of directors for the association and help guide the organization into the future to be enjoyed by music lovers for years to come. Seasonal memberships start as low as $20 for students, and adults pay just $40. Seniors get a price break on their membership and only pay $35, and families get a great deal too with just $100/family which covers two household adults plus their children.

Tickets can always be purchased at the individual concerts as well. Tickets to the Vida Guitar quartet, will be available at the door the night of the concert for a price of $30.  The concert will be held in the Borger High School Auditorium beginning at 7:30 p.m. For more information about TCMCA visit www.tricityconcerts.org
