Venom to donate funds to tornado victims

May 21, 2013

[Amarillo, TX May 21]: The Amarillo Venom are proud to announce that proceeds of each ticket sold on May 22 will go to the American Red Cross in relief of the Moore, Okla. Tornadoes. We will offer our Venom fans $10 tickets with a $1 from each ticket going to the American Red Cross.
“The tornado outbreak in Oklahoma on Monday was tragic and changed the lives of not only citizens of Oklahoma but across the United States,” Amarillo Venom owner Stephanie Tucker said. “Hopefully with the money we can raise from the ticket sales we can help restore some of what the families in Oklahoma lost.”
The next Amarillo Venom home game is Saturday, June 1st against the Laredo Rattlesnakes. The Amarillo Venom will be honoring area first responders and military personnel both active and retired for “Superhero Night.” The first 500 fans through the doors will get a free backpack brought to you by KVII, Dobbs Pumps, Fat Boy Outdoors, Propay, and Glass Doctor.
If you would like to donate any funds to the Amarillo Venom’s campaign “SHOWING MOORE LOVE from the Amarillo Venom” you can also visit the website – www.crowdrise.com/amarillovenom.
