UPDATE: One in critical condition after Friday wreck

On Friday evening Borger officials responded to a life threatening accident on West Wilson and Opal, near Subway restaurant.
According to Lt. Anthony Griffin of the Borger Police Department the driver David Wayne Winkle, 59, of Borger was driving a 1996 Red Jeep Cherokee westbound on West Wilson Street. and the other driver Randall Dwight Draper, 54, of Fritch was driving a 2000 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 eastbound on West Wilson.
Winkle attempted to turn left on Opal when he struck Draper.
On impact, Draper was ejected off the bike and Winkle hit the traffic control light, forcing his vehicle to come to a rest.
Winkle was cited for failure to yield right-of-way turning left.
Draper was airlifted by Lifestar and remains in serious critical condition.
