Traffic stop results in two arrests

A traffic stop by officers from the Borger Police Department resulted in two arrests on Monday.
On Monday, March 5, 2012, a traffic stop was conducted by Borger police officers in the 200 block of West Tenth Street, according to Lt. Anthony Griffin of the BPD.
During the traffic stop, due to actions of the occupants, officers developed probable cause to investigate further into the stop.
Lt. Griffin said that upon further investigation, two suspects were placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamines).
The two suspects were identified as Leonard Cornelius Watts, 30, of Borger, and Cassey Danee Stone, 25, of Borger. Both were transported to BPD where they were processed and incarcerated in the City of Borger Jail Facility.
Both were charged with possession of a controlled substance PG1 >=4G<200G (methamphetamines) in a drug free zone. Bond was set at $25,000 for both suspects.
