Tommie Daus Edwards, 92, of Amarillo died Friday, Sept.7, 2012, in Humble.Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Memorial Park Cemetery with Bob Miller, pastor of South Georgia Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell St.Tommie was born April 26, 1920, in Tillman County, Okla. She was a loving wife and supported her husband Tom and his business, Cliffside Sheet Metal. She was a dedicated housewife and was always busy cleaning house and arranging dresser drawers.She loved her children and grandchildren. She always was delighted to have her grandkids around and to hear them argue as to whether her name was “Nanny” or “Nana”, a discussion that still remains to this day.Tommie loved her Lord, was always active in her church and was the church pianist until her health started to fail. She could not read music, but had the talent of hearing a song one time, and then could play that song and never miss a note.She was preceded in death by her parents, Alonzo and Alice Clifton; her husband, Tom S. Edwards; three children, Marilyn Kiser, Clifton Edwards and Mary McMahan; and two grandsons, James Earl Lambeth and Vince Edward Lambeth.Survivors include two grandsons, Tommy McMahan and wife Karolyn of Humble and Scott McMahan of Porter; a granddaughter, Alicia Wade and husband 
Stephen of Pampa; seven great-grandchildren, Korey McMahan, Collin McMahan, Kelly McMahan, Caitlyn McMahan, Allison Wade, Tanner Wade and Emily Wade; and two sons-in-law, Jerry McMahan of Wichita Falls and Larry Kiser of Fritch.Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the the funeral home.
