Tomas Rodriguez, 18, died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2011, at Lake McKenzie in Briscoe County, Texas.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011, at First Baptist Church with Guillermo Barraza of Tabernaculo De Fe officiating. Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Tomas was born on May 11, 1993, in Galveston and had been a Borger resident for eight years. He was going to be a senior at Borger High School where he played football, soccer and tennis. He loved life and worked in produce at United.
Tomas is survived by his parents, Abdias & Amparo Rodriguez of the home, brother Mario A. Rodriguez and wife Elizabeth of Borger, and two sisters, Noemi C. Rodriguez and Daisy Rodriguez, both of Borger.
