Thelma Ruth Litchford Moon Dugan

Thelma Ruth Litchford Moon Dugan was lifted to heaven to be with our Lord on July 24, 2014, in Borger, Texas.
Thelma Ruth Litchford Moon Dugan was born November 25, 1928, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to John and Ruth Litchford. She attended Phillips High School. Thelma married Melvin Muriel Moon in 1945. They moved to Long Beach, California to begin their family. They lived most of their years in California until his death in 1973. They were married 28 years.
Thelma married Lloyd Dugan in and lived in Fritch until his death in 1997. They were married 19 years.
She is survived by five children, Sharon Moon-Duckworth and husband, Steve, Kerry Moon, John Muriel Moon, Melvin Muriel Moon and wife, Terri and Gordon DeWayne Moon. She is grandmother to Andrew Schavone, Lynnette Sanchez, Antonette Schavone, Angelique Anderson, Brandi Felix, Kapri Sherman, Kristi Antonello, Melvin Moon III, Gordon Moon Jr., Kathleen Moon-Howell, Candace Mose, and Welt Moon. She has 35 great-grandchildren; Ashley, Joshua, Christian, David, Anthony, Sydney, Madison, Jaimie, Gage, Blake, Destin, Andrea, Ella, Dustin, Kennedy, Drake, Paris, Melanie, Troy, Nicole, Hannah, Elena, Alex, Meladyroze, Evangelina, Anthony, Sabrina, Zachery, Austin, Wyatt, Kyleigh, Brantley, Aaron, Candance, and Brian; and one great-great-granddaughter, Shelby.
She is survived by three sisters, Shirley Wood and husband, Roy and Norma Woods, all of Fritch and Carol Roark and husband, Kenny of Midlothian; and one brother; James Litchford of Montvale, VA.
At the time of her passing, Thelma was a resident of Caprock Nursing Center, of Borger Texas, where she was cared for by a loving staff.  She was also provided wonderful and loving care by the staff of Hospice Care of the Southwest.
A memorial service will be held In Buena Park, California on a date to be determined. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
