Teens arrested for setting of three different fires

February 10, 2012

Two teenagers were recently arrested for the intentional setting of three different fires.
On January 20, 2012, three fires occurred around 11 p.m. at Buttercup Day Care and City of Borger Government Housing.
According to Fire Marshal Jerry Langwell, the first fire occurred in one room at the day care, then two more were set in breezeways at the Housing Complex.
Two teenagers, ages 17 and 13, were arrested a week later for causing the three fires.
Due to the ages of the teenagers, no names were released.
