A resident of Borger pled guilty on Tuesday for possessing child pornography.
According to court records, James Bradley Taylor pleaded guilty to one of three child porn charges for a plea bargain.
The other two felony charges for receiving and attempting to receive the materials were dropped.
According to the plea agreement, Taylor installed Frostwire, a file sharing program, on a personal computer, which he used to download the child pornography in the month of March.
A Lubbock grand jury indicted Taylor on April 11 on a charge of possessing a visual depiction of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct. The charge is punishable by up to 10 years in prison, a fine not to exceed $250,000 and a supervised release term of five years to life after prison.
During a court hearing in April, Taylor posted a $20,000 bond and was released from federal custody and remains free.
