Stay healthy through the summer heat

Being humans, we are susceptible to many different things. As the weather warms, the toll the heat takes on our bodies is far from negligible.

According to the CDC, excessive heat exposure was the cause of over 8,000 deaths between the years of 1979 and 2003.

In an effort to help ward off such easily preventable deaths and illnesses, the Borger News-Herald has compiled a list of tips to help you stay cool and healthy during the hotter months.
