The Borger Choir Boosters are busy gearing up for their annual Spud Stuff to be held at the Borger High School Cafeteria, on Friday, Oct. 5. The dinner will take place before the Borger vs Palo Duro football game, from 5-7 p.m. Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased from any middle school or high school choir student or at the door. You will be able to stuff your spud with a variety of toppings, including the traditional butter, cheese, and sour cream. Chili and broccoli will also be available. Dessert will be a variety of cobblers provided by the parents of Borger Middle School Choir students. The Borger Choir Booster Club supports all the choirs in the BISD Choral Arts program, from 6th grade through 12th grade. The funds are used to update equipment in the choral program, provide scholarships to summer camps and graduating seniors, send the seventh and eighth grade choirs to an end-of-school party at Wonderland Park, and support various other choir events and activities. The BISD Choral Arts Department is directed by Johnny Miller.
