Sherryl June Wilhelm, 64, born January 19, 1950 died March 10, 2014.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Cox Funeral Home Benton Chapel with Charlie Cox officiating. Burial will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery

She was born in Borger Tx January 19, 1950 to Jim and Dewolene Lytle along with her twin sister Carol Adams, 3 minutes apart. The twins shared a large doll collection that they enjoyed in their childhood years.  At the age of 14, they obtained their drivers licenses and took part in school dances at “Teen Town.” Draggin’ “Main Street” with a car load of friends while listening to “Downtown” was a favorite pastime. They moved from Borger to Amarillo at 16, and at 17, took in best friend Tess Lawson. Soon following, their separate journeys of life began.

Sherry is survived by her parents: Jim and Dewolene Lytle; sister: Carol Adams; 2 children: Tami and Brian Wilhelm; 2 grandchildren: D.J. and Joaquin Wilhelm; 3 nephews: Shane, Matt and Jeff Adams

Family suggests memorials to the: Panhandle Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 6222 Canyon Dr., Amarillo, TX 79109.
