SFHS names top two graduates

Sanford-Fritch High School has named its top two graduates for the Class of 2011.
Celeste Renea Flood is this year’s valedictorian and Taylor Lane Council-Church has been named salutatorian.
While at SFHS, Flood was involved in National Honor Society and Student Council, ran track, participated in cheerleading, and was named Class Favorite, Prom Queen, and Miss SFHS.
She plans to attend Texas Tech University to study pre-medicine. She received a scholarship from the Texas Classroom Teacher’s Association and the Texas Tech Merit Scholarship.
She is the daughter of Linda and Calvin Flood.
Council-Church will be graduating with a 3.8 GPA. She plans to attend Lubbock Christian University to study sports psychology, and then medical school to study psychiatry.
She received an academic scholarship to LCU for $22,000 and a $1,000 ambassador scholarship to Lubbock Christian.
She is the daughter of Martin and Polly Church.
Graduation ceremonies for Sanford-Fritch High School are set for 8 p.m. Friday, May 27, at Eagle Stadium.
