Sanford-Fritch athletes look back on spring semester

Sanford-Fritch Athletic Director Rick Ware shows his appreciation to Craig Woolley who stepped in to help the Eagles baseball team this spring.

Monday evening Sanford-Fritch coaches, athletes and family gathered at Dake’s Restaurant in Borger to look back on the spring semester in Eagles and Lady Eagles athletics.
The coaches spent time talking about the ups and downs their teams faced over the season but credited the student athletes for their continued hard work and dedication to the various programs.
Winning awards on Monday evening were:
Highest Ranking Eagle (GPA)-Derek Lesley
Highest Ranking Lady Eagle (GPA)-Celeste Flood
Boys Basketball: Offensive MVP-Braiden Baggs; Defensive MVP-Tony Manzella; Fighting Heart-Jonathan Blakely
Girls Basketball: Offensive MVP-Jacy Judd; Defensive MVP-Mariah Cummings; Fighting Heart-Taylor Hardy
Baseball: Silver Bat Award-Caleb Manzella; MVP-Tate Murray; Fighting Heart-Tony Manzella
Softball: MVP-Jill Walker; Fighting Heart-Sydney Jordan; Silver Slugger Award-Nikki Horne
Golf: Eagle MVP-Hunter Cunningham; Lady Eagle MVP-Ashley Jameson
Track: Boys Fighting Heart-Chris Bryan and Tate Murray; Lady Eagle MVP-Celeste Flood; Fighing Heart-Jill Walker and Nikki Horne.
