June 20, 2012

Sandra Hilbert announced her retirement from the Frank Phillips College Board of Regents during the board’s regular meeting on Monday.

On Tuesday afternoon, Sandra Hilbert informed the Frank Phillips College Board of Regents that she was retiring from the Board of Regents effective immediately.
Hilbert’s retirement announcement was made during the board’s June regularly scheduled meeting and followed the reading of Dr. Ed Quiros’s letter of resignation from the board.
In her retirement announcement, Hilbert told the board that serving on the board has been great and she appreciated the opportunity to serve as a member.
FPC Board Chair Conny Moore expressed his appreciation to Hilbert for the support she has shown Frank Phillips College and the Borger community.
During Tuesday’s meeting, the board unanimously approved the appointment of Chris Coon and Kelly McDonald to the vacant positions.
Coon, Manager of the Borger Refinery for Phillips 66, will fill the position vacated by Dr. Quiros.
McDonald, Director of Human Resources for Provenance Consulting and a FPC alum, will fill the position vacated by Hilbert.
