The event will showcase the talents of  contestants ranging from the age of 3 to 18 years of age. Events to be held include barrel racing, goat tying and several roping events.
The rodeo will also help several other local entities, including the Borger High School cheerleading squad. The cheerleaders will be providing the concession stand.
The rodeo, according the HCSA officials, is the only fundraiser that the HCSP has to make possible the annual Easter egg hunt and the school supply donations that are given to local students.
This year, the arena has been receiving a makeover as volunteers have spent several hours making improvements.
Local residents are urged to attend the event, , enjoy a sandwich from the concession stand and watch local youngsters compete in the  rodeo. The Grand entry will begin at 10 a.m.
