Rolling Plains sheep, goat program set for Aug. 15 in Seymour

A Rolling Plains Sheep and Goat University will be offered Tuesday, August 15 at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service office in Seymour. The free event begins at 5:00 p.m. and continues to 8:00 p.m. and will include dinner provided by the Baylor County Farm Bureau. The Seymour extension service office is located at 500 N. Main St.

The event targets producers who are just getting started or wanting more information to start a sheep or goat operation. Guest speakers will address topics ranging from economics to predator control. An open panel forum will conclude the program.
