Red Cross to hold murder mystery dinner

The American Red Cross of Borger will once again have another Murder Mystery Dinner as a fund raiser.
The theme of the dinner is “East Side Story: A 1950’s Murder Mystery,” which will be held at Dake’s on 718 N Main St. on April 9 at 6 p.m.
The American Red Cross is where people mobilize to help their neighbors across the street, across the country, and across the world in emergencies. Each year, in communities large and small, victims of some 70,000 disasters turn to neighbors familiar and new. The more than half a million volunteers and 35,000 employees of the Red Cross. Through nearly 700 locally supported chapters, more than 15 million people gain the skills they need to prepare for and respond to emergencies in their homes, communities and world.
Just in the panhandle area there are around 100 volunteers that are trained to handle fires, first aid, CPR, and any other emergency services that would need to be provided in n emergency.
Cindy Nickell, emergency service manager of the American Red Cross Of Borger, said “These fund raisers are to keep us under way” and with the Murder Mystery dinner she said, “The more you get into it the more fun you will have with it.”
Tickets for this event are $80 per couple and $40 for an individual.
People who attend are asked to were 50’s attire just to make it more fun.
They will start off with a skit showing a murder and the guests will have to guess who the killer is.
The meal for this Murder Mystery will be Hamburger and fries to fit the theme.
Tickets can be purchased at the The American Red Cross at 614 N. Weatherly St. in Borger or 108 N Russell St. in Pampa.
