PAMPA – R.E. Stover, 81, died Feb. 19, 2012, in Pampa.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at White Deer Cemetery with Rev. Jim Sinyard, pastor of Carpenter’s Church of Pampa, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Mr. Stover was born March 30, 1930 in Bonham. He married Lela Wilcox on January 25, 1950 in McKinney. She preceded him in death on February 14, 1997. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1960. Mr. Stover worked at Texas Pipe & Metal as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting and traveling.
Survivors include a daughter: JoAnn McClellan and husband Jim of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; daughter-in-law: Coelene Stover of White Deer; a brother: Bobby Stover of Pampa; 7 grandsons: Dale Stover, Chris Stover, lee McClellan, Donald Winn, David Winn, Dennis Winn and Dwayne Winn; 2 granddaughters: Missy Sandefur and Becky Keathley; 22 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
